The Mission

Our mission is to end generational poverty through empowerment. We do this through various programs and initiatives partnering with children, young adults, and families in the countries of Haiti and the Dominican Republic. We believe that generational poverty crosses the areas of mental, social, emotional, spiritual, and physical health.

-Spiritual poverty ends through freedom in Jesus.
-Physical poverty ends with access to medical care and basic needs.
-Emotional poverty ends through restored dignity and purpose.
-Mental poverty ends through access to quality education.
-Social poverty ends through access to opportunity.

Breaking the poverty cycle for one individual after another is the legacy we are called to leave.

Instead of having multiple ways for you to get involved, we made it easy - join The Mission. The Mission is our way of simplifying our efforts for maximum benefit to serve those in need. When you give to The Mission, your generosity will fight alongside us to end generational poverty through empowerment.

Meet Daysi

She is a strong and joyful mom and wife, and also an entrepreneur in a developing community in the Dominican Republic. Daysi has six kids and nine grandkids that live with her and her husband in their two-bedroom home. Daysi and her husband never finished school and have never had a consistent income. They were never able to afford for their children to complete school so their children also struggled to find consistent work.

Daysi started a business selling empanadas (a delicious Dominican breakfast made with fried bananas and flour) to earn an income. Daysi’s story of entrepreneurship has ended the generational poverty cycle for her family. With the income she earns each month she is able to invest in the education of her grandchildren.

We believe that by investing in entrepreneurship and education we can expect tangible progress and effective change for families and future families. Breaking the poverty cycle for one individual after another is the legacy we are called to leave.

Daysi now has a legacy worth passing on and we are excited to partner with her.
